• Role & Leadership: Serving as the Volunteer Fire Chief and Fire Marshal for the Herald Fire Protection District, bringing years of dedicated emergency response and operational experience to the community.

• Technical Guidance: Acts as a key technical advisor for the Herald Fire Prevention Council, collaborating closely on tactical fuel mitigation, neighborhood risk assessments, and vegetation management operations.

• Community Resilience: Leads vital regional resilience and grant initiatives—including serving as designated Project Manager—to strengthen local infrastructure, evacuation planning, and defensible space standards.
